1. Purpose and scope

Casenta Legal helps law students practise case analysis while keeping the thinking, judgement and final work with the student. Casenta Legal is a case-analysis platform built for legal practice. Law students can use it to practise close reading, identify conflicting evidence and build accurate timelines.

2. What Casenta Legal does

Casenta Legal reads and analyses the documents you upload. It cross-references facts, flags contradictions and organises events into a timeline. Every result links back to the source document, so you can check it yourself. The thinking and judgement stay with you.

3. What Casenta Legal does not do

Casenta Legal does not write essays, assignment answers, submissions or moot arguments. It does not produce work for you to hand in.

4. Responsible use and university requirements

Every university sets its own rules on AI tools. Before using Casenta Legal for any assessed work, check your unit outline and your university's AI policy. If you are unsure, ask your lecturer.

5. Documents and data

Casenta Legal does not sell your data or use your documents to train AI models. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest.
